The Holocaust, or Shoah, is the deadliest and most documented genocide in world history. Shoah, which means “catastrophe” in Hebrew, refers to the atrocities committed during World War II against the Jewish people.

This January 19-23, 2026, on the anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps by the Allied soldiers, Christian high school students across the nation will gather for Holocaust Remembrance Week.

We must learn the stories of the past, consider the impacts of the rule of evil left to its own devices, and seek how we may act, advocate, and engage with the immediate defense of Israel and the Jewish people. We will remember. We will not stand silent. And we will boldly proclaim that “Never Again” is more than a phrase — it is a solemn promise we are determined to fulfill.

Descriptions of each program initiative and the corresponding resources can be accessed below.

NEVER AGAIN? Film and Questions

Read the biographies of Holocaust survivor Irving Roth and former antisemite Kasim Hafeez. Watch the Never Again film and use the discussion questions to guide a post-film conversation.

Never Again? is a feature-length documentary about the horrors of antisemitism and the power of survival and redemption. You will go on a journey with a Holocaust survivor into the depths of darkness and surface in the light. You will also travel deep down the dark and twisted path once taken by a formerly radicalized anti-Semite and join him as he describes his journey and defends Israel on the world’s stage. Never Again? will shed the spotlight on this modern-day hatred and bring you a newfound awareness of the power we have today to say, “For Zion’s sake, we will not rest or be silent. NEVER AGAIN.”

Never Again? is a crucial film because it raises awareness of one of the most prevalent strains of antisemitism in the twenty-first century. Viewers not only learn about the Holocaust, but they also learn that the same ideas that led to the Holocaust are on the rise again. In every generation, there have been evil ones who arise to persecute Jews. In every generation, there must be Christians who rise against the evil and stand with the Jewish people, putting their actions behind the words “Never Again.”

HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL GUIDE

CUFI High School Clubs will hold a Holocaust Memorial with a guide and prepared speeches, prayers, and poems. Each section of the Memorial can be assigned to a student. The prepared remarks for each section can be printed and given to the student responsible for reading.

The Memorial can be held during the club’s preferred meeting time, during the school’s chapel, or in a special assembly. For chapel services and special assemblies, schools are encouraged to invite parents to participate and support their children taking part in the Memorial.
