We’re excited to help you bring the places, history, and people of Israel into your classroom. Through these 12 interactive stops, your middle school students will explore biblical connections to Israel and participate in activities that bring each lesson to life.
Before introducing CUFI Middle School’s Passport to Israel to your students, connect with Ariel Alphin for a brief kickoff conversation. Get your questions answered, confirm the quantity of physical resources needed, walk through the lessons and presentations, and feel confident about getting started.
Passport to Israel is designed for middle school students, with teacher-led lessons and activities that include individual work, small-group collaboration, and class participation.
CUFI provides the passport booklets and stamps you’ll need for the program. Additional supplies vary by stop. Many activities use printed pages, pencils, and Bibles, while others call for materials such as envelopes, paper, tape, scissors, or a ball or balloon.
Timing varies by activity and the amount of reading and discussion you include. Review your selected stop before scheduling it, and allow time to introduce the location, complete the activity, and discuss what students learned.
Review the teacher instructions first, then print the pages your students need. Keep teacher directions and any answer keys separate from student handouts.
Download the complete lessons, or each stop individually. Each stop includes background information on the stop and an activity with instructions to help you lead your students.
Read the lesson and the activity’s teacher instructions in advance. Print the student materials you’ll need and gather the listed supplies. Some activities require additional preparation, such as cutting out cards, filling envelopes, or arranging classroom space.
Introduce the location, read the related Scripture passages, and guide students through the activity. Give them time to share what they discovered and how it connects with what they are learning.
